What this is
Coverage by County, Plans By State and Plans By City are three reference sites built from public insurance filings and run by Health Advisory LLC, the agency of Daniel Griffin, a licensed independent health insurance agent (NPN 22052447) in Valrico, Florida. Together they cover every marketplace plan filed in the HealthCare.gov states for plan year 2027, county by county, plus the insurers’ own provider-directory files for about 190 hospital systems. Everything is free to read, and the datasets below are free to reuse with attribution.
Data you can use
- The Self-Employed Health Insurance Index 2027: median Silver premiums at 40 in 24 states with year-over-year change, insurer counts, one-insurer counties and PPO availability. CSV under CC BY 4.0.
- Health insurance premiums by state, 2027: all 31 states on one basis (KFF’s benchmark Silver at 40), with insurers, where you enroll and the 2027 rate change (one-page PDF).
- 2027 rate increases by state and insurers leaving the marketplace for 2027.
- Open datasets: premiums by county, PPO availability by state, where Gold is cheaper than Silver, occupation pay against the subsidy cliff. CSV and JSON, CC BY 4.0.
- Hospital pages: what each insurer’s own 2027 directory file says about a hospital, insurer by insurer, read from the CMS machine-readable files.
An expert source on
- Health insurance for the self-employed, 1099 contractors and S-corporation owners: the deduction, the subsidy cliff ($63,840 for one person in 2027), estimating income for the credit, and repayment risk.
- What 2027 marketplace prices do in a specific county or state, and why the county, not the state, sets the price.
- Hospital networks: why “does this hospital take my insurance” has no insurer-level answer, and how to check a plan.
- Families priced out of a spouse’s employer plan, early retirees under 65, and people moving between states.
Daniel speaks from the agent’s side of the table, with figures tied to the CMS files. Interviews by phone or video; same-day replies on deadline. He does not comment on Medicare or on individual insurers’ finances.
